Laxmi Puja

Lakshmi Puja, which falls on the third day of Diwali (also known as Deepavali), is one of the most important rituals during the festival. It is observed on the new moon day (Amavasya) of the Ashwin month of the Hindu lunar calendar, typically falling in October or November.

Lakshmi Puja is performed to honor Goddess Lakshmi, the divine consort of Lord Vishnu, who is the goddess of wealth, fortune, and prosperity. The puja is conducted with the belief that Goddess Lakshmi will shower her blessings upon the worshippers, ensuring financial prosperity, good health, and well-being in the coming year.

Lakshmi Puja transforms this day into one of the most auspicious days of the Hindu calendar. It is a day for people to express their gratitude to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Kuber for the wealth and prosperity they have received, and to pray for continued success, both materially and spiritually, in the future.
